I research, write, and publish about VPN and other privacy tools.
My first VPN setup was over ten years ago, and since then, it is an essential part of my internet experience. I surf the internet, stream, and work with a VPN.
While the world is becoming extremely transparent, which is rather for the better, there should be a space for privacy too.
Most people agree that we should keep privacy as a basic right. Now it requires some education and experience to use it effectively.
inVPN.com is created to showcase and teach how to use available tools and how to differentiate good ones from bad ones.
MacBook – I switched to Mac a long time ago and since never came back. Along with the great OS and high performance, it has excellent privacy features. The first thing I do when I buy a new Mac is turning on the Firewall and FileVault encryption.
iPhone – for the same reasons as above. Plus, you know, Apple ecosystem and all that.
ProtonVPN – while there enough good VPNs, that’s my personal preference.
ProtonMail – yes, Proton Technologies does a great job.
Telegram & Whatsapp – my messengers of choice. Pretty mainstream, except that I communicate more in Telegram
Social networks – no, I don’t use them, nor even LinkedIn. Messengers are enough for me, and I find my content differently.
Streaming – Netflix, HBO, DAZN. I use it all with a VPN to get all the content available, especially for streaming sports.
I wish you to find your balance between living in a transparent world and privacy. And don’t forget, there is much more content to enjoy with a VPN!
